More grip is always better. As long as weight doesn't go through the roof.
Stock wheel and tires approx 41lbs
This wheel 20lbs,
tire 28lbs.
Increase of 7lb per corner.
Nowhere near the same league for grip... anyway, I'm no drifter.
I'm curious what fitment issues there are for that wide of tires? And the effects on handling/agility by the super wide rubber? I know you'll have more power to play with but still.
The wheels and tires easily fit the rear with moderate camber and require some more camber to fit the front. You
cannot run larger than 245 tires at this offset on the front without coilovers. I went for a square setup because I don't like the different concave dish between front and rear and this wheel and tire combo was the one which really reached out to me. Plus, the hardcore track junkies itchbay about understeer on a staggered set-up. Staggered is fine for a HP monster... which the BRZ isn't.
I'll also be adding steering rack bushings for more direct front tire feedback.
This makes me moist. We can cruise down 17th together in our girly cars.
I... me too. If you go JDM, yo, we can hold hands through the window.
Love it.
Gotta say, if I were building a similar car, I would probably copy a lot from you. WRB BRZ, rocket bunny kit, these wheels and an s/c. Yes plz.
Not a fan of the RB body kit. Plus, it takes an enormous amount of effort/deep pockets to install.
