Grats Dev! Looks sharp!
I love long walks on the beach with my girlfriend, until the LSD wears off and I realize I'm just dragging a stolen mannequin around a Wendy's parking lot.

So now the halo LED strip around the lenz is your DRL?  Is that what you did?  All you have to do is unplug the cable?

Oh no no, the LEDs come on when turn on the parking/city lights or headlights. I unplugged the DRL which were semi-bright high beams which I hated. Now I can run the led strip without the DRLs coming on too.

I'm going to try, I joined a recreational dodgeball team and it's scheduled every Wednesday night, which is why I haven't been able to come recently, I'll attempt to come next week for sure.

For what it's worth, I plasti-dipped the grill on my XV last fall and drove it all winter, including countless drives to the ski hill, following people and there is no visible signs of damage. It still looks as good as the day I sprayed it.

This may be the route i'll be going, I've never used plastidip before so this will be a good learning experience :D

Put the flaps on :) so far so good, took about an hour to install and I took the "keep tire on" approach which was a pain but I managed  ::)

Well, I was parked on the street, not far from the curb and not close to anyone just alone along a road wide enough for 4 lanes, and I go in for lunch. I come out and I see a note written on a McDonalds napkin on my windshield.

This idiot thinks that this will "buff out" the bumper is clearly scratched deep and the paint is gone, and he thinks that it'll buff out? I'm going to get him to replace my whole bumper, sholeasay....

that guy is going to freak out when he sees a $2000 bill for that.

Make sure you get a propper body shop quote as I can see them replacing the bumper and at the very least blending the 1/4's

That's balls man!

Provided it's the correct name and number and not the ol' "somebody seen me do this so I'll write down some info like a name and number but not my name and number because I'm a disrespectful chump".

Have you tried calling this Robert Ewart yet? Can I call him?

That does suck Dev but at least he was responsible to leave a note. For starters textured plastic doesn't buff out no matter how minor. If 2 parts at least the lower will need to be replaced if not the whole thing. By how hard the impact looks to leave a scrape on the recessed part under the tail light I wouldn't doubt the bracket behind is broken as well. And with white pearl I would insist on the quarters being blended as well. Because no matter how well they claim to be able to match it, white pearl does not butt match and will need adjacent panels blended to not stick out like a sore thumb. Especially considering the vehicle is a few weeks old.
