Great North Performance endlinks
« on: November 21, 2014, 05:58:31 pm »
I would like to thank Grant for allowing me to introduce my company, Great North Performance, to the Western Subaru Club and the opportunity to earn your trust as a manufacture and retailer.
I would like to do this by offering group buy pricing on our endlinks.

My company has been selling products on the Toronto Subaru Club forum board for a little while.
The products have been on different Subaru's that are road and track driven for a few years now and have seen a few winters without issue. So I'm very confident they will perform very well in western Canada.

So let me introduce our products:

ENDLINKS

The body of the endlinks are CNC machined T6061 aluminium that gets hard anodized to protect it from the elements. The bushings are moulded using urethane that has a shore hardness of 90A to ensure a proper stiffness and help reduce Motor Vehicle Noise that other bushings may produce.
The spacers and sleeves are machined from stainless steel.
All of the bolts are of grade 10, except for the one bottom bolt of the wrx wagon, which are grade 8
The hardware package includes locking nuts and washers.

These endlinks are designed to be serviced and rebuilt (if needed) without the use of a press.

The endlinks have been used with stock parts, a mixed of stock parts with aftermarket ones, and purely aftermarket parts.
The parts have been designed to withstand the harsh Canadian road environment and should give you years of trouble free service.
These endlinks are much stiffer than the stock units and will provide a much more active response from your suspension. They won’t stiffen up your sway bar, but you will feel the reaction quicker.

Whats included: with each set of the C's, the short I, and the long I. You will receive:
2 endlinks
4 two piece urethane bushings
4 M10 bolts (except wagon owners they get two M8's and two m10)
4 locking nuts
4 washers (2 different sizes)

For the twisted ones

2 endlinks
4 two piece urethane bushings
2 M10 bolt
2 lock nuts
4 washers ( 2 different sizes)
6 spacers 10mm and 2x2.5mm
you reuse two stock bolts

Group-A, as you know is no longer, I wasn't part of that company.
I had a set of their endlinks and was looking for replacement bushings, after years of reliable usage, I might add.
I couldn't find any, and I liked the idea of buying from a Canadian manufacturing company.
Well, one thing led to another and here we are, my own manufacturing company. It's funny how things snowball.

I still run group a endlinks. Might be time to replace them.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

I know they had at least two versions of their endlinks, I had version 1. Red with blue bushings, version 2 were black with blue bushings. The reason why i replaced them was bacause they were rattling and loose.  If you are having a problem with them, then they need to be replaced. If they are performing like they should (without rattling)  then I would still run with the group a ones. ( just my 2 cents)

I have used a few different endlinks, you realy won't see a difference until you use ones with a spherical bearings and then again, not a huge difference in the stiffness of your ride. The noise level is increased a little bit more as well with spherical bearings.

I know that this info contradicts every business model, but I feel better informing people than just telling them YES, you need my product.

I have the blue ones, but my rears have chunks missing. Fronts are solid.
