Spent the last two hours struggling to get the damn subframe lowered and no matter what it keeps cocking and won't come down evenly. I will never attempt another clutch on jackstands.
You're holding the subframe with wood (near the center of mass), extending the subframe bolts the stated amount, and then slowly lowering the subframe until it touches the bolt heads, yes?
