Not so wingless anymore... 2018 Subaru STi Sport in WRB
« on: August 03, 2017, 06:54:21 pm »
Hey guys, after 3 years in my BMW I'm back in a suby... my 8th one to be exact. But the freshest, newest one I've ever owned. A few weeks back now I took ownership of a 2018 Subaru STi Sport in classic WRB pearl.
Had the 3M done on front, winter mats and undercoating were added for me. So far I've only picked up a set of winter tires and just bought Rally Amour mud flaps today.
Soon I'll get tint and likely leave it for a while. Full 7yr warranty to 140k so should be golden!!
Looking forward to getting out for a cruise and getting to know some of the 'new' crowd...

...and would be nice to see some of you old dogs too! Haha.

Congrats on the new whip! Get the prolightz foglight kit for it maybe? I don't get why they discontinued fogs as an option. Seems like a step back for me. :o
I occasionally stream games on Twitch

I miss casper.
Also, I need to come see you at work soon.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

Welcome back. Was one of your older cars a sleeper build?
Casper was far from a sleeper. It was 04 WRX I imported from LA.
Are you referring to the Frankenstein build we did with the front clip of an 05 STi on a 02 WRX with the ver7 STi engine and driveline? ??

I miss casper.

me too...
yea shoot me a message when you want to come by. 👍🏼

Which BMW did you get and why did you come back? I'm considering going German, but if the journey isn't worth it I don't want to waste my time :P

2014 320i x-drive. I was commuting from Chestermere to Tuscany almost daily so wanted something cushy and easy to drive but still liked the awd turbo. It's just a different bread of car. Has its purpose. But I'm a sunny guy at heart. I can't not drive one...

Bimmer is for sale if you want it... :)

So the 2018's have different fog light bezels :(.

Although, I've seen the best setup with LED DRL fog light bezels for the 2018. Check out
