Day 3:  Saugatuck Cocanuck Stout



Honestly, didn't care for this beer because of the coconut flavor.  Definitely tasted like a pina colada to me. 

I'd agree. I didn't even notice the coconut by the end, I just wanted it gone. Weird aftertaste - though not as terrible as the coconut stout that Brewsters put out a couple years back, IMO. It hasn't been a win in my books if I'm struggling to put down the last gulp.

Also - I am extremely jealous of the Lego Christmas scene you have going on there. Need to convince wife all of our decorations should be Lego.

Just buy her the Christmas Lego set every year.  This years set is a train station so you need to buy her last years Christmas train (as well as more tracks).  It's what I did!

Last nights beer was hands down my favorite beer so far.

Day 7:  Camba Bavaria - Gisette Belgium Ale

Last night's beer was absolutely uninspiring.  I'm not even sure it was a beer.  There was a mild yeast/citrus taste but overall, it was very watery and not refreshing at all.

Day 8: Clown Shoes - Advent Party Crashers American Imperial Stout

Day 5:  Naparbier Alien Klaw IPA



Started off as light & citrusy with a hint of bitterness.  Ended with an unpleasant yeast taste.

I'm a couple bottles behind. This, paired with some fish tacos. It might have been the tequila that entered partway through the meal but I liked it - I think the fact I was eating summer food helped, though; plus the fact I always seem to be drawn to these so-called Belgian IPAs.

So, I didn't get around to drinking any of my beers this weekend.

Day 10: Le Grimoire - Shaman's White Apple-Cinnamon Beer



Day 11:  Brouwerij De Molen - Dasher & Dancer Red Ale-ish

I had both of these last night, whilst prepping some food for the week. I liked the Shaman's better than I thought I would. It had an almost cider taste to it (well, duh) but it finished off nice. Would buy again. Dasher and dancer was okay, and I'm usually a fan of the more bitter ales but wasn't my favourite. The head was gorgeous though.
