Sherman has been serving its purpose as intended. Here are photos from WCMA's first lapping day. Photo credit goes to Peter Ilnicki.








Sherman drove great. Although we goofed and did not keep an eye on the tire pressure. The pressure dropped a little too much, and a very light contact with the snow bank unseated the tire. Now we can tell people "we drove its tire off". Two kind strangers helped us fixing it with the lighter fluid trick, and we were back out there sending it. Only missed out on one lap!

We are signed up for the second lapping event this Saturday. Hope to see some of you out there!

Agreed. I have not driven one yet, but I think a safari 911 might be more fun on the ice. Until I try one of those, this Subaru is my vehicle of choice on loose surfaces.
